Privacy Policy

This policy describes what information SubmitPak LLC ("SubmitPak," "we," "us") collects when you use submitpak.com and the SubmitPak application, how we use it, and who we share it with. SubmitPak is in early access — this policy will evolve as the product does; we'll update the effective date above when it changes.

Information we collect

• Account information. If you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and company name, and the credentials you use to sign in.
• Documents you upload. The product data sheets, spec sheets, LEED/sustainability documents, and other files you upload to build a submittal package, along with metadata you provide about them (product line, SKU, revision).
• Usage and device information. Pages visited, general location (city/region level, from IP address), browser and device type, and referring site — collected automatically via cookies and similar technologies (see "Cookies and analytics" below).
• What you send us directly. If you email us or use an early-access request form, we keep what you send so we can respond to it.

We do not knowingly collect payment card information — SubmitPak does not yet process payments (see "Pricing and payment" in the Terms of Service).

How we use it

We use your information only to provide the Service to you — to build and deliver your submittal packages, maintain your account, respond to support requests, and (if you've requested early access) follow up about that request. We do not use it for anything else, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to train AI models.

Cookies and analytics

SubmitPak uses:

• A session cookie to keep you signed in and to operate early-access access controls.
• Google Ads and Google Analytics (GA4) to understand site traffic and measure the effectiveness of our marketing. These set their own cookies and may collect information about your visit across sessions. See Google's privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy for how Google handles that data.

We don't currently show a cookie-consent banner; this section is that disclosure. If you'd prefer not to be tracked by Google Analytics, you can use a browser extension like Google's opt-out add-on or your browser's tracking-protection settings.

Where your data is stored

We use reputable cloud infrastructure providers to store and process your information, with encryption in transit and at rest. During early access, the deployed engine runs on ephemeral, in-memory storage — accounts, projects, and uploads are not written to a database and are cleared on every redeploy or restart. This is appropriate for evaluating the product with a small invited group; please don't upload anything you need kept long-term until we've moved to persistent storage, and we'll update this section when we do.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers who help us run SubmitPak — hosting/infrastructure, and the Google Ads/Analytics tools described above — solely to provide the Service to you. We never sell or rent your personal information, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing purposes.

How long we keep it

We keep account data and uploaded documents for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the service, plus a reasonable period afterward for backups and legal/accounting purposes. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time (see "Your rights" below).

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to export your data, using the contact form below. We'll respond within a reasonable time.

Children's privacy

SubmitPak is a business tool for commercial construction professionals and is not directed at, or knowingly used to collect information from, children under 16.

Changes to this policy

We'll update the effective date above when this policy changes and, for material changes, make a reasonable effort to notify account holders.
